Almost 3.2 million people die of diabetes across the world every year. It is also estimated that there are 30 to 33 million diabetics in India now, and every fourth diabetic in the world today is an Indian. Indians are genetically more susceptible to diabetes and number of diabetics in India would go up to 40 million by 2010 and 74 million by 25 million
Unless India confronted the epidemic on a priority basis, it would have an adverse effect on the health and economy of the nation. We are going to have a huge problem ahead of us.
I would like to have all the research done on diabetes to save millions of people in India and across the globe.
This serious magnitude of problem let us to think for forming Hadoti Diabetic Care Foundation at our city, Kota.
We will work tirelessly to reach communities throughout the hadoti region to create awareness, prevent diabetes among at-risk populations, and ensure that all people with diabetes get the best care, treatment, and information about how to manage their diabetes.
We aim to provide latest updates and line of treatments to our patients through providing printed material, audiovisual CD’S, internet (our website) and conducting seminars for patients from time to time.
Our website www.hadotidiabeticcare.in is our Endeavour to fulfill our aims. We will be training people to become diabetic educators to propagate our aims and help us in creating awareness and preventing the disease and its complications.
Our Patrons are Dr. M.S. SURI and Dr. MAHESH PUNJABI
